Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern the tutoring and developmental services provided by BrightPath Learning Center, 488 M Sports Plus, Maejo, San Sai, Chiang Mai 50210. By booking a class, enrolling a child, or using this website, you agree to these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of the student you enrol.

2. Services we provide

• Group and one-to-one tutoring, developmental activities, handwriting, play therapy, and art and craft sessions, as described on our Services page.
• Sessions are delivered at our centre, at your home, at a school, or online, depending on the program booked.
• We assign a suitable teacher for each booking. We may substitute a teacher of equivalent qualification where necessary.
• Session content and materials are prepared at our discretion to suit the student's level and goals.

3. Booking and enrolment

• A booking request made on this website is a request, not a confirmed place. A session is confirmed only once payment is received.
• You must give accurate information about the student, including age, relevant medical conditions and learning needs.
• We may decline or end an enrolment where we cannot meet a student's needs safely, or where these terms are breached.

4. Fees, packages and refunds

Rates, discounts, cancellation notice periods and refund rules are set out in full in our business policy, which forms part of these terms.

• All fees are quoted and payable in Thai baht.
• Purchased hour packages must be used within 180 days of the payment date. Unused hours expire after that period and are not refundable or transferable.
• Prices may change for new enrolments. A package already paid for is honoured at the price paid.

5. Attendance, conduct and supervision

• Students are expected to arrive on time and behave respectfully towards teachers and other students.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the scheduled times. We supervise students during the session only, not before or after it.
• Please tell us in advance about allergies, medication and any condition affecting participation. We are not a medical provider and do not administer medication.
• In an emergency we will seek immediate medical assistance and contact you as soon as possible.

6. Photography and media

• We sometimes photograph classes and activities. We will not publish an image of your child without your written consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Recording of sessions by students or parents requires our prior written permission.

7. Personal data

• We collect student and parent details, and documents submitted by teaching applicants, to run bookings, teaching and administration.
• We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and do not sell it.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Teaching materials

• Worksheets, lesson plans and other materials we provide remain our property and are licensed to you for the student's personal learning only.
• Please do not copy, resell or redistribute our materials without written permission.

9. Liability

• We take reasonable care of students during sessions, but we are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the centre.
• We do not guarantee any particular academic result, grade or examination outcome.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Thai law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Changes and governing law

• We may update these terms. Enrolled families are notified in advance of any material change, and the current version applies to new enrolments.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and disputes fall to the courts of Chiang Mai.
